Date: April 12, 2007
Some credit unions have reported that their members have received an email alerting them that there has been fraudulent action with their Internet Banking account. The email contains a link that brings the member to a replica of the credit union’s Log In screen. The screen then asks for credit card information and other personal information from the member. This is not an action sanctioned/created by Pee Dee Federal Credit Union.
Members will never be asked to provide personal identifying data or to provide credit card information as part of the log in procedure.
