Allows the member to have their payroll, retirement, or government check directly deposited to either their savings or checking account. This safe and convenient way to receive funds is a great time saver for our members!
For participating employers, a designated amount of funds can be electronically deducted from each paycheck, transferring those funds into a designated account(s), or to make a loan payment.
This service allows funds to be transferred from a share (savings) account if adequate balances are maintained, or may be transferred from a line of credit for qualified members.
Overdraft Privilege is a courtesy that we provide to our members with a share draft (checking) account. We may* cover insufficient fund checks up to a $400 limit. Overdraft Privilege is a service that is automatically provided to all member share draft accounts in good standing after 60 days, (members have the right to opt out).
With overdraft privilege your check, ATM withdrawal, Debit Card purchases or other electronic debit items may be covered by the Credit Union up to the limit of $400 - including fees. You will be charged a $25 per item fee. You will receive notification when an overdraft occurs on your account and you will be expected to deposit adequate funds to bring your account to a positive balance within 30 days.
Pee Dee Federal Credit Union does not encourage members to use this service as a regular source of funds for meeting their normal living expenses. If you find yourself doing so, we offer Overdraft Privilege Counseling Services. See any Member Services Representative for more information.
*Available on qualified share draft (checking) accounts only. Certain Restrictions Apply.
